The east side of Milwaukee has tons of restaurants available from German foods to Hispanic foods, but Cafe Hollander provides people with a laid back experience that focuses on the Benelux's region culture, which includes the Netherlands, Belgium, and other countries. This Cafe Hollander location is a staple for bikers to visit, as the walls show with pictures from past years of marathons. Most of the dishes served at Cafe Hollander are cooked in beer or wine, adding immense flavor. During my visit, I chose a sausage dish with sweet potatoes and for dessert, I chose a fudge brownie skillet that included white chocolate chunks, fudge sauce, ice cream, and strawberries. The atmosphere was extremely mellow and is an exquisite place to grab a quick bite of food. From bikers to regular customers, Cafe Hollander is a viable option for anyone looking for tasty European-style food.
